K.K.Wagh Universal School, DGP Nagar conducted a Solo Dance Competition for class I – VIII on 15th of July 2017. The competition started with great zeal and enthusiasm. Young modernists were thrilled to be a part of colourful, vibrant and energizing event. Hands, feet and bodies, decreased in colourful costumes, twirled, flipped and jumped on the stage of school. Different kinds of dance forms: western, contemporary, hip-hop, classical etc. was performed by the pupils. Children even made use of interesting props like hats, chairs and sticks. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of all the students were par excellence. The happiness of the children was amply evident with applause and appreciation.

Solo Dance Competition was judged by a panel of 3 judges: Ms. Jayshree Khade Headmistress of K.K.Wagh English School, Ms. Ashwariya Dusane Dance Instructor and Ms. Pooja Katoch.The judges expressed their amazement at the level of performance delivered by the contestants. Mr A.K Dikshit the CBSE Advisor and the Principal Ms Nisha Endait appreciated the efforts of students and motivated other students to participate in the competition.

The Team Spirit was encouraged and appreciated by the Dr.B.V Kardile, Co-ordinator of K.K.Wagh Education Society.The Secretary, Prof K.S Bandi praised the talent of the students. The event ended with the Vote of thanks by the Principal Ms Nisha Endait.
