Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh Education Society was established in the year 1970 by well known social worker Padmashree Late Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh. At present K. K. Wagh education society, Nashik is running 1) K. K. Wagh institute of Enginneering education and research. 2) 3 Polytechnics. 3) 6 agriculture and allied colleges. 4) 4 arts, commerce, science and computer science colleges. 5) 5 Junior colleges. 6) 8 schools in Nashik district 7) 3 CBSE Schools. Later on, the other educational institutes in the field of education, nursing, fine arts and performing arts colleges were started in the campus. The engineering college and polytechnics are well established and situated in the picturesque campus called as “Hirabai Haridas Vidyanagari” in the vicinity of Panchavati, Nashik. At present 19000 students are studying and 1700 staff members are working in the various institutes run by K. K. Wagh Education Society.
